For a christening, the most important person is the baby that is being christened. Their outfit is going to be the most important one and the parents will choose very carefully what their child is going to wear. However, if you are invited to a christening, the chances are one of your first thoughts will be what you are going to wear yourself!

It’s not easy to choose an outfit for a christening. How formal should it be? How much money should you spend? What will everybody else be wearing? Christenings are daytime events so whilst your outfit might be smart, you probably don’t want to look overly formal either. Choose something that you are going to be comfortable and happy in. If you are comfortable with your choice, you will probably enjoy the day more and will be able to relax whilst spending time with your friends, family and, of course, the baby.
